Self Destructor

Samson Marlowe is a closeted alcoholic, a man hollowed out by guilt, regret, and the lie he calls a personality. After a series of failed relationships and with nothing left to live for, he welcomes death. But instead of oblivion, he wakes in a world eerily familiar yet entirely wrong. Here, another Samson exists who never ruined his life. He’s everything he wishes he had been: loved, successful, whole. And he’s married to Lucy—the love he lost, the woman who became the symbol of everything he ruined. Beneath the surface of this perfect life, however, something festers. The other Samson acts a little off-key in familiar ways. As Samson obsesses over his other self and his seemingly perfect life, suspicion grows: maybe he isn’t the only one pretending.
