An early reprint of the 1930 first edition, the source for three films, most famously the 1939 version with Marlene Dietrich and James Stewart, as well as a Broadway musical and a short-lived tv series in 1964. Bound in blue cloth-covered boards with orange lettering and firing revolver design on the front board, and orange lettering on the spine. The book is unmarked; spine slant; spine ends bumped with some wear. The dust jacket features the dramatic silhouette shootout, but is heavily flawed--peeling to front panel, chipped and edgeworn, long closed tears to spine edges; Brodart protected.
