A Detailed Study on Limits and Continuity

This book has designed for the students of CBSE XI, XII and Intermediate. It will also be useful to the students who are preparing for IIT-JEE and various entrance examination for engineering course. This book will help the students to understand the concepts of limits and continuity. The aims of this book are a student can understand them through his self-study.This book can also be considered as teaching methods in limits and continuity. The working rules are described to solve certain type of problems. Various type of problems on continuity and limits are solved which enable the students to grasp the concepts of limits and continuity.

In this book we discussed left-hand limit, right-hand limit and limit of a function. The solutions of problems and continuity are given using the epsilon and delta. For some problems numerically verified for the given epsilon and the delta found. We are also given L-Hospital’s rule to evaluate the limits which are in indeterminate form. This rule helps the students to evaluate the limits in shortest time which is helpful to the students who are appearing the Engineering Entrance Examinations.
