The study concludes that resources, staff competency, adoption of Information Communication & Technology and stakeholders' participation influence effective implementation of monitoring and evaluation of projects. The study recommends need for resources, stakeholders' involvement, ICT integration and enhanced staff capacities in M&E implementation.

Samuel was born on 19/9/1977. He has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management (Moi University) and an MA in Project Planning and Management (University of Nairobi). He is currently undertaking a PhD in Project Planning and Management at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology (JKUAT) and is a lecturer at Karatina University
