Developing a Christian Worldview of the Problem of Evil

Each of these three books (Developing a Christian Worldview of Science and Evolution, Developing a Christian Worldview of the Problem of Evil, and Developing a Christian Worldview of the Christian in Today's Culture) is drawn from Colson's highly successful How Now Shall We Live? Shorter in length and accessible to readers, the Developing a Christian Worldview series is ideal for small-group study and classroom use. Each chapter begins with pre-reading questions, and each study session is made up of newly written discussion questions, role-playing activities, and challenges to implement key insights. All are designed to help readers grasp Colson's arguments and learn how to use the points effectively with non-Christians.

What has gone wrong with the world? This is the profound question that lies at the heart of all worldviews. Is human nature essentially good or fundamentally bad? Is there such a thing as sin? How do you explain the presence of evil in our world? Various world philosophies--from New Age to Christian Science, from utopianism to postmodernism--have answered these questions in different ways, and all have failed because their answers do not jibe with truth.

What do you as a Christian believe about these things? How do you respond to the comments and questions of your friends and neighbors who hold a different worldview?

This special study edition drawn from the best-selling book How Now Shall We Live? addresses these questions in a profound yet practical way. Used as a five-week guide for individual study or small-group study by youth groups, Sunday school classes, or book groups, this book will inform you, prompt exciting and life-changing discussion, and challenge you to develop a consistent and influential Christian worldview.
