About the Author

Simone Bibeau, M.Ed. in Special Education, was a classroom teacher for 10 years. Currently she is a lecturer and consultant for educators and parents. As an author Ms. Bibeau has published extensively and appeared on many major TV and radio programs throughout the country to speak on the importance of perception. A member of the Arizona Authors Association, she is a strong promoter of quality educational books for children. She takes pride in the fact that her Early Learner program has helped parents and teachers around the world provide children with a solid foundation for learning. Be sure to read the Answer Guide in the back as it contains valuable information to complete many of the exercises. After an exercise is completed, have your children discuss what they did and why it is important. For example, learning left-to-right will help them read a book easily since we read from left-to-right. This verbal sharing from both adult and child is equally as valuable as the exercise itself. Do not be concerned with the quantity of pages covered. Short sessions of only 10 - 15 minutes each day are excellent.
