Catherine Fitzgerald, Ph.D., is principal of Fitzgerald Consulting, which specializes in executive coaching and leadership development. She is a faculty member of the Association for Psychological Type, the National Leadership Institute of the University of Maryland University College, and the University of Maryland School of Public Affairs. She was chairperson of the 1994 International Research Conference on Leadership and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, sponsored by the National Leadership Institute. She has a Ph.D. in psychology from the State University of New York in Buffalo.
Linda K. Kirby, Ph.D., is a writer and trainer. She coauthored The Challenge of Change in Organizations, Introduction to Type Dynamics and Development, and coedited Introduction to Type, 5th edition. She is coordinator of the MBTI Qualifying Training Program of the Association for Psychological Type and leads qualifying training programs and advanced application courses in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, and New Zealand. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado and was an assistant professor and director of the women's studies program at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio.
