Maurice Dawson serves as an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at University of Missouri-St. Louis, former Visiting Assistant Professor (Honorary) of Industrial and Systems Engineering at The University of Tennessee Space Institute, and Fulbright Scholar: Specialist in the Faculty of Computational Mathematics & Informatics at South Ural State University in Chelyabinsk, Russia. Dawson is recognized as an Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer by the U.S. Department of Defense. Research focus area is cyber security, systems security engineering, open source software (OSS), mobile security, and engineering management.
Dakshina Ranjan Kisku is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at National Institute of Technology Durgapur, India. He obtained his B.Eng., M.Eng. and Ph.D. (Engineering) degrees all in Computer Science and Engineering from Jadavpur University, India. Dr. Kisku is an active researcher in the area of biometrics and computer vision. Dr. Kisku has more than 55 scientific articles to his credit published in refereed conferences, journals and edited books. He has co-authored and edited three books on biometrics and homeland security. He is a recipient of the IEI Young Engineers Award for his contribution in Computer Engineering. Dr. Kisku is a Senior Member of IEEE (USA). He serves as a reviewer for many refereed journals, conferences and edited books.
Phalguni Gupta received his Doctoral degree from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in 1986. Currently Professor Gupta is the Director of National Institute of Technical Teachers' Training and Research, Kolkata (an autonomous Institute under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India). He has published about 300 papers in International Journals and International Conferences. He is also an author of 3 books and 14 book chapters. He was awarded Gold Medal and Professor V. D. Tawani Award in 1977, IBM Faculty Award in 2007 and Asia Outstanding Contribution by ACM-ICPC in 2010.
Jamuna Kanta Sing received his B.E. (Computer Science & Engineering) degree from Jadavpur University in 1992, M.Tech. (Computer & Information Technology) degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur in 1994 and Ph.D. (Engineering) degree from Jadavpur University in 2006. Prof. Sing has been a faculty member of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Jadavpur University since March 1997. He is a senior member of the IEEE, USA. He has published more than 30 papers in refereed international journals and more than 60 papers in international conferences. His research interest includes face recognition/detection, medical image processing, and pattern recognition.
Weifeng Li received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Tianjin University, China, and both M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Nagoya University, Japan. Dr. LI has been working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering at Tsinghua University, China, since September 2010. Before joining to Tsinghua University Dr. LI had been working as Research Scientist, Research Staff and Post-doctoral Fellow at Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland, Idiap Research Institute, Switzerland and Nagoya University, Japan, respectively. His research interests include Signal Processing, Image Processing, Biometrics and Pattern Classification. Dr. LI has published more than 90 scientific articles in refereed journals and conferences.
