309 pages inc a 9 page index with 313 photo illustrations of designs and interiors and theatrical actors. Blue cloth, gilt embossed titles, a little light marking on spine, most of wrappers intact loss to top area of the spine and wrapper also browned at edges in. Contents very clean, no smells, or stains of inscriptions, although an ex-libris 1930's designed bookplate for "J.H.M. Springhall" inside front board, this initialled "JG" with a design incorporating theatrical masques and curtains. 2nd edition, revised from the 1927 1st. Quarto. 1937. *Heavier book to post but no extra will be charged to a buyer. Seller Inventory # 8443

We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
