About the Author

Pranab K. Mukhopadhyay, Ph.D.: Studied Applied Physics at University of Calcutta and did his Ph.D in Physics from Devi Ahilya Viswa Vidyalaya, Indore, India. Scientific Officer at Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology, Indore, India and working in the field of solid-state lasers, intracavity frequency conversion and mode-locked fiber laser.
