The Deviant Daughter

Exiled to a brutal drug treatment program as a teenager, I thought I had found refuge in a spiritual ashram—only to find myself trapped in a dangerous, abusive cult.

At eleven, an unexpected transcendent experience gave me a fleeting moment of spiritual oneness—a memory I would spend years trying to recapture. Instead, my home life spiraled into chaos.

At fifteen, I was discarded by my parents for the "sin" of a single kiss with another girl.

Branded a deviant, I was exiled to Omega House. Modeled after the notorious Synanon cult, it was a brutal drug treatment program within the troubled teen industry designed to dismantle children through psychological warfare. Instead of safety, my teen years were filled with predators—including my own counselor.

What followed was a uniquely unconventional life of survival. Cast out into the world, I went from the psychological warfare of Omega House to living at a beefalo cattle ranch in the middle of nowhere, still searching for the fleeting spiritual connection of my childhood.

Then at sixteen, I met disciples of Yogi Bhajan, and the grooming began. By nineteen, I was fully drawn into ashram life, trading one system of abuse for another. What promised to be a sanctuary of healing became a prison of absolute control, where spiritual, physical, sexual, and emotional abuse were demanded as the price for devotion.

The Deviant Daughter: Outcast, Rebel, Survivor is a compelling true story of resilience against the odds. From state-sanctioned institutional abuse to the reality of cult manipulation, this journey through the darkest corners of faith and family stands as a fierce testament to a woman who refused to be silenced.
