My Devil

A haunting psychological novel about faith, temptation, and the soul’s battle with darkness. Nothing in contemporary fiction feels quite like this.
This is neither classical prose nor mass-market fiction.
It’s a novel that reads in a single breath and demands to be lived through.
The language of the book is both dynamic and poetic.
It contains metaphors that stay in memory: flights over an abyss, eyes like bottomless pools, fresh air hiding deceit.
These images aren’t ornaments – they work as dramatic mechanisms, gradually revealing the heroine’s inner state.
This novel isn’t read for the revelation – “who he truly is.”
It’s read for immersion in a special, almost hypnotic atmosphere, where every emotion is sharpened and every word can wound.
The heroine’s voice is both confession and challenge.
She speaks to her companion and to the reader at once, hiding neither fear nor irony.
At times mocking, at times deadly serious, she holds us on the edge between reality and inner visions, where the image of the Devil becomes a mirror of her own feelings and thoughts.
It’s a continuous emotional pressure – intensity and strain: short, striking sentences, repetitions, and abrupt rhythms.
They create a sense of inner tension, of almost painful obsession.
The atmosphere is thick as smoke.
There’s no haste here, yet every word carries tension.
Each scene feels infused with something greater than dialogue alone – a secret that emerges through phrases, fragments of memory, and shifting metaphors.
The work holds the reader until the very end not only by its plot, but above all by its atmosphere.
