Devil's Playground

It was a bright sunny day on July 20, 2001 outside of Tampa Bay, Florida in a pet park. Timothy Alexander Shields and Maria Santiago were walking their pets; Fox a golden retriever and Missy a charcoal gray colored Yorkie. Maria an animal lover instantly fell into the arms of a much older man. After dating for six weeks they got married in a small chapel in Miami. Tim felt like he had won the lottery. He has found a beautiful, intelligent and single, self-employed woman, but what he doesn’t know is it will hurt him in the long run. Tim is getting manipulated to serve a greater purpose. Love is blind and may cost more than some are willing to pay. It all will become life threatening. Devil’s Playground is repulsive, brilliant and an uncharacteristic story. It’s a murder mystery that takes place in Miami, Florida. The charisma and passionate chaotic scenes shows no sympathy for human life. Three homes exist in a fifty mile radius. Your neighbors could be the nicest people in the world and capable of becoming your enemy. One of Tim’s neighbors carries a terrible secret that will destroy the Shield’s family forever. Some people, particularly the ones we least expect can do unimaginable horrific crimes and attempt to get away with murder. Justice lies in the hands of a predator. It’s the devil at play being disruptive and ungodly. He is securing his ground and marking his territory. Pray, hide, seek protection and sleep with one eye open. He is watching, waiting to betray you, and then destroy you from the life you live.
