Paige Taylor is a career counselor and a writer of children's stories and poems. She has a bachelor's degree in psychology from Occidental College in Los Angeles and a master's degree in counselor education from the University of Southern California.

Kent Brinkmeyer has worked as a reference librarian, young adult librarian and branch manager for over 20 years. He is currently manager of the Benjamin Franklin Branch of the Los Angeles Public Library. Kent has a bachelor's degree in history from California State University at Northridge and a master's degree in library science from the University of Southern California.

Sue Brinkmeyer has taught English and Children's Literature at Glendale Community College in California for the past 20 years. She is a graduate of Occidental College with bachelor's and master's degrees in English. She is the author of a series of English as a second language texts.
