""A Dialogue In Two Conversations Between A Gentleman, A Pauper And His Friend"" is a book written by Thomas Mendham and published in 1775. The book is a philosophical dialogue between three characters: a wealthy gentleman, a poor pauper, and the pauper's friend. The conversations cover a range of topics, including morality, virtue, and the nature of happiness. The gentleman argues that wealth and material possessions are necessary for a happy life, while the pauper and his friend argue that true happiness comes from living a virtuous life and cultivating strong relationships with others.
