As stated on the copyright page, the original printing plates were destroyed and "The first edition from the new plates was printed in October, 1931". The book is very good with shelf wear, gilt on cover and spine nice and bright, topstain is nice. No writing, marks, or book plates in the book. Contents are clean and bright! RARE NEW MODERN LIBRARY PRINTING. Dust jacket mentions 200 titles indicating a 1931 printing. 95 cent price present and bright on inside flap. Chipping on spine and extremities and sunned spine otherwise very bright and beautiful. Now protected in an archival-quality dust jacket protector.
