The pages are rippled, and the cover is coming loose but repaired. Lafayette Ronald Hubbard was born in Tilden, Nebraska: 13 March 1911. Hubbard began publishing sf with "The Dangerous Dimension" in Astounding for July 1938. On May 9, 1950, Lafayette Ronald Hubbard (1911-1986) publishes Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health. With this book, Hubbard introduced a branch of self-help psychology called Dianetics, which quickly caught fire and, over time, morphed into a belief system called Scientology.

Limited editions range from Asimov's childhood story about his Little Brother to his 1993 edition of The Mammoth Book of Modern Science Fiction: Short Novels of the 1980s* (Carroll & Graf). Books are in various conditions from Ex-Libris cracked binding to never read like new books. All books have been stored in double cardboard boxes with plastic liner between the two boxes. Each book has multiple photographs and a short description. The current typical retail price has been researched for the books.
