Diary of a Middle Class Soldier

"At a time when joining the army in India was predominantly the domain of martial races such as the Rajputs, Sikhs, Marathas, Jats and others, Lt Col Sirajuddin was, perhaps, the first officer in a fighting arm from the Dawoodi Bohra community. The narrative covers the trials and tribulations of a middle class family in India during the sixties, followed by his journey of more than two decades in the Indian Army. The later part of the narrative dwells on his pursuit of a second career in Saudi Arabia followed by a foray into the corporate sector in India, besides doing his bit for social causes.""All proceeds from the sale of this book will go to AALIM Charitable Trust and welfare of Veer Naris and jawans of 267 Engineer Regiment""."
