Everyman's Library numbers 53 and 54. Volumes are tightly bound in the publisher's gray ribbed cloth with title and decoration in gilt on the spine. Decoration blind stamped on front covers. Decorative endpapers top edges tinted blue. Neatly penned name of previous owner on ffe. Old price in pencil on half title pages. Pages are clean smooth and unmarked. - Vol One- Lightly soiled covers. Tiny tear on the fore-edge of front cover. Softly worn corners and spine ends. Vol.Two- in near fine condition with minimal wear on the cover.
