Hoffman. 85pp., portrait frontis; 12mo; black cloth spine lettered in gilt and illustrated paper over boards; map endpapers; tipped-in color illustration of the Rocky Mountains. Early California Travel Series XXXVI. With a long inscription on the half-title: "To Mrs. Bertram K. Dunshee, 18 Oct. 1957, I am honored to know that you would like a copy of this little book which is token of a side issue of mine. So few copies were printed that the books became a collector's item even before it came from the press. Your interest in history and the real contribution you have made to the preservation of historical sites in Calif. has been a source of inspiration to me. More power to you. Sincerely, Clifford M. Drury.".
