8vo. 335 pages. Tan cloth boards with black titles on front and spine. Black and white photograph as frontispiece; numerous black and white illustrations of scientific instruments at rear. Boards with pale stains on front and rear; worn along edges; corners bumped; ends of spine crushed. A few spots on edges of text block. Pencil price mark on front free endpaper. Foxing to endpapers and preliminary pages; spots on a few other pages but generally clean. Binding reasonably firm but gutters starting to crack in a couple of places. Seller Inventory # 919
