Cover lower edges rubbed through, leaf edges lightly foxed and toned, previous owner ink signature on front free endpaper, London bookseller tag ("The Country Mouse") on front pastedown. In the color photo-illustrated dust jacket: price clipped, spine ends chipped, corners rubbed, scuffs on rear panel, remains of tape repairs verso. More than 3,200 entries on clothing throughout world history including accessories and underclothes. Dust jacket is now housed in a removable, clear archival sleeve.
