An undated, probable first Everyman's Library edition, 1911. A listing of major events in history, arranged alphabetically, with pertinent facts and references. No editor or author is credited, but Donald Armstrong Ross credits Eric F. Smith as the compiler in his "Reader's Guide to Everyman's Library." An entry in Everyman's Reference series; EL #554. --- In the style 1 Dutton library binding in full dark green cloth-covered boards with gilt-stamped titling, decorations, and loop to spine; Dutton name to tail of spine, all edges tinted in dark green. Volume lacks a dust jacket. --- With two penciled signatures to front free endpaper, else a well-preserved, otherwise unmarked copy, though with mildly splayed boards.; 16mo - 6 to 7 in. tall; viii, 302 pages.
