This is the losing half of the Great Dictionary War. An 1865 printing of the 1859 first edition. Full brown calf binding, marbled end papers, 1786 pages. Rubbed at the edges, chip at the spine bottom, and half the spine title label is missing. A strong new front hinge has been added. A nice copy, almost no foxing.
