Different By Design: God's Master Plan for Harmony Between Men and Women in Marriage

Are men from Mars and women from Venus? No. The earth is in fact the home base for both sexes. So why are we so different? Because God created us that way. Men and women were created with radically different ways of thinking, feeling, and perceiving. But when we check the Bible, we see that God never intended these differences to create the incredible friction they do today. Pastor, author, and conference speaker H. Dale Burke's book, Different By Design, is aimed at exposing the myth that men and women are too different to live in harmony. He contends that God's master plan includes harmony between men and women in marriage. H. DALE BURKE (Marshall University; Dallas Theological Seminary) is the senior pastor of First Evangelical Free Church of Fullerton in California. Prior to assuming the pastorate in Fullerton, Pastor Burke served for over ten years as the first senior pastor of a church in Oxford, Ohio. Apart from his weekly ministry in the pulpit of the Fullerton church, Pastor Burke enjoys writing and speaking to a variety of audiences in the U.S. and abroad.
