Don't Dig Too Deep: The Truth is Down There (Paperback or Softback)

Some secrets refuse to stay buried

When Dr Meera Carter leads an archaeological dig at Old St Paul's Church, she believes she's honouring her late father's legacy-and finally stepping out of his shadow. But when her assistant uncovers a skeleton that is far too recent to belong to history, the excavation becomes something far darker.

The remains trigger disturbing sensations and vivid nightmares, as if the dead are trying to speak. Called in to investigate, Detective Inspector Alex Scott-herself grieving a devastating loss-begins to uncover a chilling truth buried for more than thirty years.

The woman in the grave was murdered. And DNA evidence links her to Meera's father.

As the investigation deepens, Meera is forced to confront the unthinkable: the man she loved and idolised may have been capable of murder. Even worse, the victim was not a stranger- erased from history and from her life.

With her identity unravelling and her faith in the past destroyed, Meera must decide whether she can live with the truth-or whether she needs to leave everything behind to reclaim who she really is.
