In these pages, you'll find real-life solutions and advice from digital photography expert Lee Varis for using and managing digital techniques effectively and smoothly, as well as tips for achieving high-end results.

Lee Vans has been a professional photographer for over twenty-five years. He began exploring digital imaging fifteen years ago and incorporated it in his work twelve years ago. He has been active as a photographer and digital imaging artist, working primarily in the entertainment print advertising community. His work has been featured on movie posters, video box packaging, album covers, consumer and trade ads, catalogs, and magazine editorials. He currently resides in Los Angeles where he continues to work in photography, now exclusively digital. He also provides digital-capture services for other photographers as well as consulting services for ad agencies, design firms, and corporate clients. He lectures extensively across the U.S. on digital imaging and he maintains a Web site with stock imagery and technical information about digital imaging techniques.
