It’s time for the Royal Progress, an elaborate month-long trip during which the Sparrow family will visit ten tales throughout their kingdom to promote goodwill and cordial relationships. Thankfully, everything is all set to run smoothly for once. There are just a few areas of concern:
1. Queen Ginnie is days away from giving birth, and King Matt refuses to leave her side. (Someone needs to convince him to change his mind.)
2. There are so many different protocols and rituals and ceremonies for Princess Lily to navigate that Miss Reed will have her studying during all her down time. (How much sleep does a princess need anyway?)
3. One of the stops will bring Lily face to face with Calo. She hasn’t seen him in three months. (That shouldn’t be awkward at all.)
4. The press are following the Progress closely—eager to report on all of Lily’s failures. (No pressure.)
5. People begin disappearing from the Progress—not the good PR the Sparrows were looking for. (But that’s not Lily’s fault, right?)
