Dining in the Desert with God: How to Transform Your Life in 30 Days

What do you do when an unexpected life event hits you smack in the face? The pain painful loss of a failed marriage, death of a loved one, job layoff, or other similar events can catapult you from a comfortable life into an unknown future.

Like the Israelites following Moses out of Egypt, you may feel like you are on a long, unwanted journey, trudging through a desert full of sand and wondering if God is with you? Is there truly a promised land—a new, transformed life—as you transition from one season to the next?

Yes! Come. Leave your burdens behind and find rest at God’s oasis. Embark upon a 30-day journey with God and discover a transformed life in the midst of your biggest struggles. Let the 30 devotions, filled with encouraging scriptures, prayers, and journaling questions, lead you through your desert season of change as you discover your own transformation process with God.

The devotional is organized into three sections to help you pray, study, and journal.  You can download a FREE JOURNAL (link in the book) that includes the journaling questions for each daily devotion.

• Section I - The Sand in My Eye helps you overcome common challenges during your changing circumstances, such as suffering, feeling depleted and alone, and lack of trust.
• Section II - Finding the Well in the Desert reveals life-giving resources, including the Word, your spiritual inheritance, and faith in the unseen to strengthen you as you grow with God.
• Section III - Sitting Under the Palm Tree shows you how to maintain and delight in the spiritual fruit of your journey as you sit in God’s presence.

As you read the devotions and journal through the questions, God will reveal how all things work together for the good of those who love Him and seek His purposes (Romans 8:28). You will begin to experience a renewed sense of peace, feel God’s love, and see a path towards your God-given destiny as you leave your desert behind. You will know you are being transformed day-by-day!
