Tan cloth boards with stamped gold decoration is very worn, the edges are bare, corners quite worn, chips in the decoration, soiling, spine finish is crackling, edges and head/tail are worn. Front and rear hinges are breaking, tanned interior paper, cooking stains on the paper edges and some interior pages. 1891 copyright, no edition or printing noted.
