The Dinner: The Political Conversation Your Mother Told You Never To Have

Dr. Paulson's newest book, The Dinner: The Political Conversation Your Mother Told You Never to Have, chronicles a dinner conversation between two couples from different parties and background as they explore a political conversation their mother never wanted them to have. There is no name calling, just two couples trying to address issues impacting a critical choice—Who will I vote for in the election this November? No boring position papers in this book—just straight talk over dinner about political issues that make a difference for America. The book allows you to pull up a chair to the dinner and listen in!

When asked to explain why they vote Republican, the Republican couple shares the Pillars of Republican Values—Tax relief, smaller government, educational excellence and the American Dream. They share how America’s strong military and free market capitalism are critical to lasting world peace. Both couples struggle with the Tough Three—Abortion, healthcare and the immigration challenge.

There is even a self-test to identify what you believe on the values that separate Republicans and Democrats.
