The Dinosaur Hunt

The Dinosaur Club is a gripping, truth-based novel that confronts one of society's darkest realities: the systematic abuse and trafficking of children hidden behind institutions trusted to protect them. Written by veteran journalist Tom Aswell, the story draws heavily from real investigations, survivor testimonies, and decades of reporting on corruption within religious organizations, group homes, and law enforcement.

At the center of the novel is an unlikely group of heroes-retired journalists who call themselves The Dinosaurs. Once respected investigative reporters, they now live quiet lives, meeting monthly to reminisce about a time when journalism exposed corruption instead of avoiding it. They believe their most meaningful work is behind them-until the brutal murder of a teenage girl pulls them back into the world they never truly left.

What begins as a single suspicious death quickly unfolds into a horrifying pattern. The Dinosaurs uncover evidence of abusive, church-affiliated "rehabilitation" homes where vulnerable children are isolated, controlled, and exploited. As they follow the trail, they encounter a web of complicity involving religious leaders, law enforcement officers, politicians, and institutions that thrive on silence and fear.

Despite their age, physical limitations, and personal doubts, the Dinosaurs refuse to look away. Armed only with experience, integrity, and an unrelenting commitment to the truth, they begin piecing together stories long buried-stories of children trafficked across state lines, survivors silenced by shame, and crimes dismissed or deliberately ignored by those in power.

As the investigation deepens, so does the danger. The Dinosaurs face intimidation, obstruction, and the painful realization that some of the crimes they now uncover could have been stopped decades earlier. Haunted by regret but driven by conscience, they push forward, knowing that exposing the truth may be their final-and most important-assignment.

Blending investigative suspense with emotional depth, The Dinosaur Club is more than a thriller. It is a call to awareness and accountability, honoring survivors who endured unimaginable abuse and refused to remain silent. It challenges readers to
