Dioptric Formula For Combined Cylindrical Lenses: Applicable For All Angular Deviations Of Their Axes (1888)

""Dioptric Formula For Combined Cylindrical Lenses: Applicable For All Angular Deviations Of Their Axes"" is a book written by Charles Frederick Prentice, first published in 1888. The book is a comprehensive guide on the mathematical formulae used for calculating the optical properties of combined cylindrical lenses, and how these formulae can be applied to lenses with varying angular deviations of their axes. The book is aimed at optometrists, ophthalmologists, and other professionals working in the field of optics, providing them with the necessary tools to accurately measure and calculate the optical properties of cylindrical lenses. The book is divided into several chapters, each covering a different aspect of the dioptric formula, including the principles of cylindrical lenses, the calculation of the refractive power of cylindrical lenses, and the application of these formulae to lenses with varying angular deviations. The book is a valuable resource for anyone seeking to understand the complex mathematics behind cylindrical lenses and their optical properties. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
