Synopsis
They sailed the seas, pillaging and plundering, crammed into ships no longer than a train carriage. Worms ate the biscuits and munched on the ships' hulls. Life was hard for the bloodthirsty captain and crew, but if they survived the rancid and maggoty food, the fighting, the fevers and the malodorous mates with all body parts intact; if they avoided drowning, capture and swinging from the gallows, there was adventure and a fortune to be made. Discover the real and revolting stories of these robbers of the seas with this thrilling, no-holes-barred full-colour illustrated book.
