Bringing the disabled into the mainstreaming process of development will ensure sustainable development and inclusive growth of the country. Their full proof empowerment is the key to the philosophy of inclusion and basic lever of fundamental human rights. Being a democratic country it is our utmost responsibility to provide them all required facilities according to the Kautilayan notion of good governance. The book deals with those pertinent issues in a comprehensive manner and come out with diverse level of policy suggestions.

Dr. Ruchi Ramesh is teaching in the Department of Sociology, R.K.M.V, Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. She has contributed a lot in the pursuit of research. Her area of research includes diverse sections of society. Dr. Sudhir Kumar Singh is teaching in the Department of Political Science, Dyal Singh College(M), University of Delhi. He did his doctorate from School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. His area of research includes diverse aspects of Human Rights. He has edited few books related to diverse issues of social sciences and international politics. He has many publications in international and national journals to his credit.
