Disaster! Not My Plan!

A couple of years have passed since Jantastic's epic journey down the Sauble River. Jan has grown into a more confident girl of fourteen, ready to face new challenges in life. Gone is her fear of the unknown but not her enthusiastic view of life, which is often displayed with twirls of delight.

This year Jan is invited to go to camp ABK as a junior leader to lend her expertise to the junior girl's Outpost camp. The French River is the planned canoe trip-a whitewater river of some renown, where the novice paddlers will practice their whitewater skills.

Daisy, the senior leader feels slighted and needs to show that she is perfectly able to lead Outpost camp, but things go wrong. Will they paddle the French River as planned or will disaster strike once again?

Lynn Halliday is a semi-retired pharmacist and an outdoors adventurer living in Northern Ontario. She and her family have paddled in the north for over thirty years and most of the stories that she writes are based on real events. Over the years she has taught Sunday School, spoken at Christian Women's retreats, and counseled at camp. Her goal in writing is to share her faith through stories.
