Light wear to extremities with minor scuffing to surface of cloth. Light staining and discoloration on surface of cloth. Small ding on hinge proper right side exposing board. Cloth is slightly shattered along hinges. Interior good with light age-related toning and minor foxing. Free of known markings. Binding tight and intact. Please see photos. An unusual little examination of the teachings and philosophy of Lord Francis Bacon, Baron Verulam, Viscount St. Albans (1561-1626).
