Printed for the American Unitarian Association. Pastor Eliot co-founded Washington University in 1853 at St. Louis with the support of his congregation. The original name for the university was "Eliot Seminary". He was also the university's first president and its third chancellor. The book is in good shape with a solid binding. The only flaw besides signs of use around the edges is the bottom half of the cover of the spine is missing. I can provide pictures.
