About the Author

Dr. Danner, a native of Alabama, is a graduate of the University of the Philippines. He holds a Ph.D. in Education from American University, Washington, DC. He teaches communication studies at University of Maryland University College, Adelphi. He is retired from the Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant. Dr. Noël, a native of Belgium, holds a Ph.D. in French language and literature from Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri. He is fluent in French, Walloon, and German and is familiar with Italian and Spanish. He is chairperson of the Deparrment of Foreign Languages, Georgia College and State University, Milledgeville.
