Discovering God's Word: A 6-Week Introduction to the Transformational Bible Study Method with the Gospel of Mark

Transform your study of the Bible, and the message of the Bible will transform you.

If you want to go deep in God’s Word but just don’t know how, this book is for you! As a former frustrated Bible reader turned geeky Bible lover, Jean Wilund is passionate about sharing the life-changing truths of God’s Word in ways that make sense.

With a conversational tone, Jean leads you through the well-organized three-step Transformational Bible Study Method that changed her time in the Word. On this 6-week journey, you’ll practice this in-depth method by studying the gospel of Mark, which will help you:

• Discover a better way to study the Bible more deeply
• Turn the “task” of your quiet time into an invigorating transformative time
• Hunger for a deeper walk with God by loving His Word

"When God first saved me, I hungered for His Word,” Jean writes, explaining her own journey. “I wanted to understand this new salvation I’d received. Over time, though, reading and studying my Bible grew to be a wearying chore." When Jean reached her breaking point, God moved her to change the way she studied the Bible, and almost overnight the task became exhilarating. You can experience that too.

God’s Word always does its perfect work. Rather than conquering the Bible, Jean’s desire through Discovering God’s Word is to let Scripture conquer—and transform—us.
