Overall VG condition, knock to bottom left corner near spine. Internally clean. Synopsis from inside the book “After a brief historical introduction and a note on the use of arial photographs there follows a sequence of thirty six aerial photographs with complementary ground photographs, interpretative maps and explanatory text. These are arranged in the form of a journey from the airport via the coast to central Newcastle, then across the River Tyne to Gateshead and on to South Shields. The information can be used at different levels: either to provide added interest to a journey around the Metro system at one extreme; or to enable detailed local investigation in the vicinity of a particular station or at the other”.
