Discovery Inn, is a collection of photographs of musicians taken by Danny Clinch over the last decade. From striking publicity and album images to intimate, behind-the-scenes documentary work, Clinch has chosen the world of music as the mise en scene on which he channels his unique gift. Spontaneous, evocative, powerful, and unpretentious, Clinchs work will appeal to lovers of music, culture, fine photography, and to anyone interested in peering into the more human moments of rock glory.
Some of the many artists featured include: Radiohead, The Breeders, Ol Dirty Bastard, the Beastie Boys, Tupac Shakur, Pavement, Beck, Pearl Jam, Luscious Jackson, and Johnny Cash. Discovery Inn also features never before published photographs of artists such as Phish, Blind Melon, PJ Harvey, Michael Stipe, and Stevie Wonder.

About the Author
Danny Clinch's career in photography began at the tender age of ten, when he won a camera for bringing the most kids to a church gathering. Though, as he writes, "[he] really wanted the fishing pole," Clinch quickly became a competent and accomplished photographer. After studying documentary/photo journalism at the New England School of Photography, Danny Clinch attended The Friends of Photography Workshop where he studied Photography as a Document with Bruce Davidson and Sylvia Plachy. He then went on to The Ansel Adams Gallery Workshop, where he continued his training with Annie Leibowitz and David Hockney. Through the latter, he landed a job at Ms. Leibowitz's studio in New York City, quickly became one of the most acclaimed and sought after young photographers working today. His work has appeared on album covers and publicity shots, and in, among many others, Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, Ray Gun, and Spin. Discovery Inn is the first published volume of his work. Danny Clinch currently lives in New York City.
