There are several marginal comments, presumably contemporary, by a previous owner, including a rather forceful 'ROT' across a section on diabetes. Some occasional soiling in the text. Introductory pages have an advert for Percivall's Patent Horse Sandal, and for some other books on horses by the author. Rare - no other 19th century copy online at time of posting.
