Neat owner's name on flyleaf. Front hinge starting. Contents vg, clean and bright, with just very occasional faint mark. Illustrated with colour and b/w plates and numerous drawings and b/w photographs throughout the text. Scarce early edition, 4th edition 1925 of this 1908 treatise. 900g. Surface mail virtually does not now exist, and the distinction between Priority and Economy is now between Airmail Tracked/Signed delivery and Standard Airmail
Current Conditions. Since international postal services are almost universally in chaos at present, largely Covid-generated, with huge delays and some losses, I have removed the Standard airmail option from non-European destinations for the duration.
