Dishonest Criticism: Being A Chapter Of Theology On Equivocation And Doing Evil For A Good Cause: An Answer To Dr. Richard F. Littledale (1887)

""Dishonest Criticism: Being A Chapter Of Theology On Equivocation And Doing Evil For A Good Cause: An Answer To Dr. Richard F. Littledale"" is a book written by James Jones in 1887. The book is a response to Dr. Richard F. Littledale's criticism of Jones' earlier work, ""The Catholic Doctrine of the Atonement."" In this book, Jones discusses the issue of equivocation, which is the use of language that is intentionally ambiguous or misleading. He argues that equivocation is a form of dishonesty and is not acceptable in theological discourse. Jones also addresses the idea of doing evil for a good cause, which he believes is similarly dishonest and immoral. He argues that it is never acceptable to do evil, even if it is done with good intentions. Overall, ""Dishonest Criticism"" is a work of theology that explores the importance of honesty and integrity in theological discourse. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
