Blue cloth boards with pictorial decoration. The boards are a little bumped around the edges and the spine is slightly cocked. The dustjacket is quite worn and grubby with various scuffs and tears around the edges and some minor losses. There is a prize certificate (dated 1938) pasted on the front endpaper. The pages are tanned with age and have some scattered foxing (mainly to the page edges).
