In many ways, the two theologies are polar opposites; hence both cannot be the truth. Dispensationalism unfolds God?s ways with men by distinguishing the Church (comprised exclusively of those saved and sealed by the Spirit today through believing the Gospel of the Grace of God), as being blessed above all other creatures whom God has blessed, having a unique relationship with Christ as His body and bride. Such have special heavenly blessings, privileges, and promises which saints from other ages do not have. Dispensational truth indicates that this unique call of the gospel today is an interposed dealing of God, while Israel is in rejection of their Messiah?the Lord Jesus Christ. And, that this heavenly calling of the Church does not in any way interfere with God?s purpose to bless Israel and the Gentile nations in the future millennial kingdom of Christ. On the other hand, Covenant Theology does not accept that there will be a heavenly company of blessed glorified saints distinguished from those blessed of God on earth in the kingdom reign of Christ. Instead, all who have faith from all the ages are viewed as one people of God who will inherit the earth and live on it together in the Eternal Sate. Hence, the Church includes Old Testament saints, Christians, and future millennial saints, and, they are all equally blessed on the same footing without distinction as the wife and bride of Christ.…
