Item description from seller

Quarto. 16 pages, 26 pages of plates. Facsimiles of the Revels accounts for 1604-5 and 1611-12 with some associated papers of later date, concerning the authenticity of the so-called Cunningham forgeries, written chiefly in reply to S.A. Tannenbaum's Shakspere forgeries in the Revels accounts. Includes bibliographical references. Frederick S. Boas states that most scholars now consider his work which has established the demonstrative proof of their authenticity. Bound in light blue paper covered boards lettered in black, backed in blue cloth, spine lettering gilt, Upper right corner and head damaged. A scarce work.
