The Great Recession has transformed the workplace. It is time for HR to transform as well. Through real-life examples and experienced insights, this book introduces business and HR leaders to a new HR doctrine that refocuses HR with a renewed purpose to optimize people and their human capital as a resource. By outlining six critical principles, the new doctrine provides a framework "from the trenches" to transform HR through its next evolutionary phase and fulfill its potential to influence organizational success.
