Disruption by Design in Higher Education delivers a clear assessment of the headwinds confronting colleges and universities, offering a comprehensive set of strategies for implementing purposeful and timely change management.
With institutions facing closures and mergers at an alarming rate, each chapter equips leaders with ready-to-use environmental assessment tools to establish a diagnostic baseline and action plan tailored to their institution’s unique needs. The book begins by examining higher education’s identity, current state, and business model, then shifts focus to strategy development and execution, and concludes with three potential futures for institutions along with strategies to navigate them effectively.
Packed with actionable insights addressing pressing issues of institutional governance and finance, this guide is an indispensable resource for academic leaders committed to steering their institutions through transformative change.
